IN THIS SESSION

This is one of my go-to tools for stabilizing blood sugar, supporting cortisol, and creating steady energy especially in the morning or during a busy day.

Ingredients

  • 1 scoop clean protein powder (20–25 grams protein)

  • ½ cup frozen dark cherries

  • 1 tablespoon almond butter

  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds or ground flax

  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond or coconut milk

  • Optional: pinch of sea salt

Directions

Add all ingredients to blender and blend until smooth.

Why It Works

  • Protein helps stabilize blood sugar and prevent energy crashes

  • Healthy fats and fiber slow glucose absorption and support sustained energy

  • Dark cherries provide antioxidants and support recovery

  • Cinnamon supports insulin sensitivity

When to Use It

  • Breakfast when you’re short on time

  • As a mid-day option instead of reaching for sugar or caffeine

  • After a stressful morning to help stabilize energy

  • As an easy option when you don’t feel like a full meal

Optional Add-Ins

  • Handful of spinach or greens

  • Collagen powder

  • Frozen cauliflower (for added creaminess)

  • Coconut oil or MCT oil

This smoothie is a simple way to support your energy, your hormones, and your stress response in a way your body can use consistently.
